School Nurse Kathy Sheffield has reported that in the midst of an active flu season, JA’s maintenance crew has misted all classrooms and offices during evening hours with a germ-fighting solution in an effort to minimize the spread of flu and strep.  Many thanks to our maintenance staff for their care and concern for our students and faculty!

 

Sheffield also reminds us that it’s still not too late to get flu shots for your students, and of other safety precautions. “Please keep your child home if they aren’t feeling well and for 24 hours after having run fever or vomited,” she advises. “Not only are we trying to keep your child well but also the other students and faculty.”
