Teatime with a Twist

For quite a few months now, loaded teas have been stirring the interest of many young drinkers. The teas are supposedly healthier than normal teas, boasting fewer calories, many vitamins, and plenty of caffeine to keep their purchasers energetic. Shops have been popping up all around the Jackson-Metro area, so those with licenses can buy a “nutritious” drink on their way to school. In fact, it has become so popular that, as senior Anna Roberson believes, “It’s over-hyped…it’s not even that good, to be honest.” However, it has yet to be determined whether the drinks are actually healthy or not.
