News for the New

Dear Freshmen,

Welcome to high school! As some of you may realize, it is a bit daunting at first, but it always gets better. Here are a few tips that helped us survive our first year:

  1. Always do your homework. You never know when your teachers will grade it.
  2. Your teachers are nicer than they may appear to be, and they will make your classes fun given the opportunity.
  3. See what you can do with your classmates to pass. Study groups are always a good idea.
  4. There’s still some time to have a social life. High school does not just mean more work to do. It also means that you can expand your life outside of the classroom.

Good luck to you as you face your first year in high school!
