The Chosen Classes

from Issue 1

As with anything, there are bound to be favorite electives at Jackson Academy. Here are some staff-picked options:

  • Biblical Worldview. Taught by John Hugh Tate, this class explores…well, a Biblical worldview—how Christians should view the world.
  • French. Taught Catherine Arnold, French teaches a student the language that they would expect: Spanish. All jokes aside, Mrs. Arnold has gained status as an excellent teacher after the beloved “Madame” Dyess retired.
  • Theater. Taught by Kerri Sanders, theater leads a student into the world of acting with a group of their peers.
  • Study Hall. Everyone’s favorite at Jackson Academy, study hall gives students an opportunity to meet teachers they never knew.

Here’s to a great year with great classes!
