Every day during office hours and lunch, students in the Upper School building can be seen sitting in the halls with their legs stretched out. Teachers have complained about this. English teacher Mr. Levy states, “Personally, I think it’s rude, and as someone who is disabled, it makes it difficult for me.” Students have a different view on the matter. When asked if a teacher needs to get by, Mia Healy said, “Then I will move my feet.” It is not just the feet, though: lunches and bags fill the hallway, as well. Some say that this creates a tripping hazard and is not visually pleasing to visitors on the campus. If one looks in the hallways, though, they would see that the halls are mostly empty and would most likely not cause a tripping hazard.

To the high schoolers: Even if you sit down in the hallway or leave trash in it, please be courteous to each other and try to get out of others’ way and clean up.
