Coronavirus Update: Week 3

As of 5 March 2020, the COVID-19 has impacted a several places in the U.S. The states are Washington, Oregon, California, Utah, Arizona, Texas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. There have been 11 deaths total in the U.S., 10 of which were in Washington. Out of these 11 deaths, 8 were elderly and lived in a nursing home. The virus is said to be most dangerous for those who have an underlying health condition. The Center of Disease Control recommends washing hands and not touching the face to avoid spreading the outbreak and discourages travel to China, Iran, Italy, and South Korea.
